Welcome Principal Seidel!

St. Joseph Catholic School warmly welcomes Mr. Robert Seidel as our new principal. Mr. Seidel is looking forward to a new beginning and is excited to commence his new role as principal of our school. Principal Seidel has many years of professional experience in Catholic Education. Most recently he spent 4 years as the Principal at Divine Mercy Catholic School in Faribault, Minnesota.

Principal Seidel, the faculty and Fr. Richard are all looking forward to getting to know and work with all of the students to ensure that each and every student in the school is successful this year academically and socially.

Mr. Seidel and his family will be relocating from Minnesota. Please introduce yourself and welcome them to our Parish and School Community.

2013-2014 Registration - Open Enrollment

Get your registration forms in NOW. Registration for the 2013-2014 school year is now open to all interested on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. After March 29 the registration fee will increase by $50 per child.

Your child DOES NOT have a spot in the school until the registration fee is paid AND all of the following have been turned in:

  • Student registration form (Returning or New)
  • Smart Tuition form (available in the office)
  • Emergency Contact form
  • Medical History form (for each child)
  • Media consent form
  • Computer Use Agreement form
  • Immunization form
  • 2013-2014 Tuition Information & Service Contract

2013-2014 Tuition Assistance Grant - Updated Due Date 8/1/2013

The Central Washington Catholic Foundation plans to fund 80 tuition assistance grants of $750-$1500 each to NEWLY enrolled families in the eight Catholic schools in the Yakima Diocese for the 2013-14 school year.

Applications are available online at http://cwcatholicfoundation.org/wp_site/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/TAP-App-CWCF-2013-fillable-form-FINAL.pdf. Applicants do not need to be a member of the Catholic faith to apply.

Applications must be filled out and turned into the school office. CWCF has extended the due date to August 1, 2013. Award letters will be mailed in early September to the students.

2013-2014 Children's Center Registration

The Children's Center is now accepting registration for the school year 2012-2013. You may come by and pick up your packet at the Children's Center any time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. All registration is on a first come first serve basis. You must turn in a COMPLETE packet along with your $50.00 registration fee to be registered. 2013-2014 Uniform Dress Code

Uniform information for the 2013-2014 school year can be downloaded here. Next year will be the pilot year (NOT REQUIRED) for a more formal liturgical dress for weekly mass. There are also minor changes to the daily uniform. The old blue and green jumpers are being retired, and only the new Land's End jumpers are allowed.

Annual Pledge Drive

We have begun our annual pledge drive to help raise funds for the school. As you're all aware, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating our children. We please ask that all families, relatives, friends, and alumni prayerfully consider a donation for the school. Donations are tax deductible and may be paid anytime in 2013.
