"Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today" Art & Wine It is not too early to purchase your Art & Wine tickets. Ticket prices are $50 in advance of the event and $60 at the door. You may buy your tickets at the school office or parish office. Be sure and mark your calendar to attend Art & Wine February 5, 2011. One of the Art & Wine auction items each year (Chateau St. Joseph) is a collection of different wines that have been donated by parents of SJS students and parishioners. The Art & Wine Committee is asking for donations at this time. If you are interested in donating, please feel free to take your wine donation to the St. Joseph’s Parish Office. SCRIP Thank you for the response from people wanting to help with the scrip program. You are greatly appreciated. I still have some openings to fill, though. I need 2 people for after Mass on Saturdays at 5:30pm (fun to do with a friend). I also need a couple of people who speak Spanish to sell at the Saturday, 7:30am and the Sunday, 1:00pm. Masses. The greatest need is before and after school. Each of these shifts should only take about ½ hour. This is a fun and easy way to earn your volunteer hours and there is something for everyone, regardless of what your work or personal schedules may be. Thank you! You may contact me at any of the numbers or e-mail below. Pam Peterson, Scrip Coordinator 438-4044 (cell) 582-5156 x300 (work) 736-5552 (home)
Calendar Raffle Winners January 24, 2011 $50.00 winner is James Guzek. Congratulations! Winter Weather Reminder When school is open or on a two-hour delay during a day of snow and ice we realize that your particular residential street may still be dangerous regardless of how well the main streets have been plowed. If you can’t make it due to the weather we will treat it as an excused absence. Just call or send a note. Your decision regarding the safety of your family will be respected. SJS will follow Kennewick School District’s closures and delayed starts. For the most up to date information, look on the KSD website: www.ksd.org. Messages will also be announced on TV and radio stations in the area. When St. Joseph’s School has a 2 hour delay, the Children’s Center will open at 7:00am, instead of 6:00am. When there is a 2 hour delay there will be no AM Preschool, there will be PM Preschool. Be sure to continue listening as sometimes the delays turn into closures. Thank you!
